Why Mongolian hair for curly hair texture?
One thing you should know is that Mongolian hair is the best choice for curly hair textures. Why? Here are the 3 reasons:
- Mongolian hair is strong than other hair types, so it holds curls better. You can blow the hair straight or use heat on it, it may be hard to get the bone straight look, more than a naturally yaki straight look, and after it gets wet, the hair will back to the original curls.
- The thinner the hair is, the easier it got tangled. As we all know, Curly Hair is easy to get tangled, but as Mongolian hair is thicker than other hair types, it is less tangled and easier to do detangle than others.
- Mongolian Hair is full and thick, meanwhile, it's lighter weight than other hair types. So it can give you a full look while not so heavy when you wear it. It's very important, especially for hot weather.
How to maintain curly hair curls?
It's better to take off the wig when you sleep, especially for a curly wig. When the hair gets dry and poofy, you can use mousse or leave-in conditioner.
- Wet the hair with water first, spraying the hair from the root to the ends. Detangle the hair with your hands first, then the combs. If there are tangled knots, don't worry, be gentle, you can leave it with conditioners, brush it too hard will cause shedding, we don't want that.
- Smoothing your favorite product throughout the hair and continue to detangle it, you may like the Shea Moisture leave-in conditioner. Spray all over the section, and maybe add more on the ends, because the ends are usually drier quicker.
- Mousse can help to keep the curls popping and keep it from freezing all day! Use it with a leave-in conditioner will be better! Also if you like a wet look, Mousse
How to detangle curly hair?
Please don't use the brush to brush hard on the wig, because it will make the curls get loose and make the hair get more frizzy.
When the hair is tangle, please also don't use the wide-tooth comb to comb the hair when dealing with the matters and tangles on your curly wig.
It's not user-friendly for frizzy curly units and too much pressure would lead to extra shedding. The right way to detangle:
- please use your fingers to separate your hair into sections, what you will need is a pointed tail comb to detangle the wig.
- Grab each section in the middle and you want to smooth the bottom hair first by using the pointed tail comb. Smoothing your Gorgeous curly wig.
- After the smooth job is done, don't forget to fix it and spray your hair with the conditioner mist. Then there you have a beautiful puffy curly wig.
How to comb curly hair?
- Use a comb. Be sure to only use a comb on curly or natural hair. A brush can damage the hair cuticle and will make curls frizzier and less defined. The best tool to use for curly hair is a wide-toothed comb.
- Don't comb dry hair. Never comb curly hair when it's dry. You may have noticed that curly hair becomes frizzy when it's brushed or combed when dry. Make sure to only comb curly hair after showering.
- Apply a deep conditioner or mousse meant for curly hair. Curly hair is drier than straight hair, so it needs all the moisture it can get. Products meant specifically for curly hair deliver this moisture to curly hair for more defined curls. You also may try applying argan oil or another kind of oil at the tips of curly hair. The tips of your hair are the driest part of your hair and need special attention.
- Comb from the ends and work your way up. Just like with straight hair, you want to start brushing near the tips of the hair and work your way up. Curly hair is especially prone to tangling, so it's important to not start from the roots. If you encounter tangles, do not yank the comb through them. Even if it untangles the knot, using too much force can mess up the pattern of the curl and make curly hair look frizzier.
- Brush from the roots to the bottom. Once you have worked your way up to the roots, brush a couple of strokes down from the roots to the tips of the hair shaft. Because the hair is wet, you won't distribute as much healthy oil from the scalp as you would if it were dry, but it is still an important step in making curly hair healthy.
Are your wigs 100% human hair?
The answer is Yes. We have sold hair for years, we only sell 100% human hair. Here are two methods to test if your hair extensions are human hair:
- Test it by burning: The synthetic or fiber hair will be melted with the black smoke as soon as you burning it. But the 100% Remy human hair will immediately catch fire, burn nearly instantly curling into a little ball, and smell like burning hair.
- Use your fingers to feel: There is a layer of hair scales on the surface of the hair, it is a bit like a fish scale. When it is touched, it feels very smooth, but when you touch it in reverse, it feels not very smooth. This is also a very professional way to distinguish true human hair.
Can the hair be bleached/permed/dyed?
The answer is YES. Our hair extensions are made with 100% human hair. They can be permed, dyed, bleached anyway. But be remember that all of the electric treatments with hair will cause varying degrees of damage. so if you are not good at it, pls let the professional hairdresser do it to make sure there is no damage to human hair.
Is it ok to sleep with your wig on?
Sleeping in your wig is not generally recommended by wig experts. If you have to sleep with your wig, please follow these tips to protect your wig during sleep.
- Wrap your head. Your wig will be damaged by too much friction. Friction can deteriorate the fibers and cause a loss of hair over time. It also leads to tangles, frizz, and dryness, all of which are a pain. To protect your wig from friction, lay the hair flat against your head and pin or tie it into place. Then, wrap your head in a silk or satin scarf. This will keep your unit in place while also protecting it from friction.
- Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase. In this way, your wig will be protected from friction and frizz to the greatest extent. But beware that you may end up with more tangles if you tend to move around in your sleep.
- Brush Your Wig Thoroughly in the morning. Carefully brush or comb your wig to remove any tangles that may have formed overnight. This will prevent the hair from matting or frizzing over the course of the rest of the day. If your hair looks flat in some areas, use a little water, leave-in conditioner, or wig spray and gently fluff it.
Try not to sleep in your wig often. Over time, all that friction will lead to split ends, tangles, matting, and other issues. In short, it'll shorten the lifespan of your wig. It's not worth it!

Some reasons in detail, just like, combing the wig in a rude way after cleaning it. Or, you just forget to dry the wig before combing it. Sometimes, customers are not willing to spend an extra on special care for their wigs, however, they need to know applying extremely oily or greasy hair care products to the hair and washing the wig with not appropriate hot water will cause wig shedding. Your behaviors may bring wig shedding to yourself.

Can we apply heat to the human hair wigs?
Yes! Our lace wigs are made of 100% virgin human hair, so they can be styled exactly like your own hair. Blow dry it, iron it, curl it. Whenever using any heated styling tool on hair extensions, always use a heat protection spray, oil, or hair serum. To avoid scorching your hair, you have to know the temperature limitations that you must not cross for each of your heated styling tools.
- Blow dryers: Hair Dryers typically heat to between 80 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Stylists usually suggest keeping the setting on a moderate-high setting. It will dry your hair faster without any prominent damage. We usually suggest wig should be air dry after washing, but if you really need it to be dry in a short time, please strictly control the temperature.
- Curling irons: The temperature selection depends on the type of hair you have. A standard iron has a range of 200 degrees to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. For thick textured hair, you can go for a high temperature between 200 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. While with thin textured hair, it is best not to go above 200 degrees because of their sensitivity.
- Flat irons: Straightening your hair requires more heat than curling. So, flat irons work on higher heat levels in comparison to curling irons. Straighteners often work between the range of 250 to 400 Fahrenheit. For thicker hair, the range of 300 to 340 is safe. While for thinner hair, remaining below 290 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal.
Your heating tool may get hotter than It is supposed to. In addition to controlling the temperature, you must also control the time, and do not heat a location for too long. Otherwise, you may burn your hair.
